		<description>Thanks for the article on our work! Dan, Zach and my colleagues on NPR&#039;s API team have really blazed new trails when it comes to making news content more open.

One minor correction, though: When Keith Hopper created NPRbackstory, he did it while employed by Public Interactive, which was then acquired by NPR. So he was already at PI when he built it; it&#039;s just that PI&#039;s ownership has changed.

Public Interactive is somewhat different than NPR digital media - they operate independently and concentrate on building tools and services for NPR member stations at the local level, while NPR digital media, manages NPR&#039;s national activities, such as NPR.org, the API, our social media activities, etc.</description>
