As a student in Laval (Between Le mans & Rennes) at L'université du Mans, we have a free access to Ouest France every day ( great for crosswords and another point of view on news) and I personnaly tried this program, there was over 230 000 people registred but I received Ouest France on Saturday :) Another French speaking here.

And as a French in the said age group who tried to benefit from the program, I couldn't agree more with every comment. I tried to register for Les Echos, by the way, and got an email telling the subscription quota was over, though I was offered a free one month trial to the online edition of the paper instead.
