Hiya, I'm really glad I have found this info. Today bloggers publish only about gossip and web stuff and this is really frustrating. A good website with interesting content, this is what I need. Thank you for making this website, and I will be visiting again. Do you do newsletters? I Cant find it.

You assume that the behavior patterns for print and digital should be the same. I would argue that is not necessarily the case. One could argue that reading in print is a more leisurely experience than digital, so that design pattern reflects that. I'm not sure that younger people consume digital products in that manner, otherwise the Web would be replete with sites catering to that type of experience.

The answer is probably somewhere in between, that there needs to be sites that can function in either mode, depending on the audience in question and the type of content they're perusing.

Such an apt description of the tension and frustration in online reading, written as it can only be written — from a reader's point of view. Especially appreciate the frank assessment that "...most home pages suck." And add to the confusion of most media home pages the increasingly sloppy, or absent, copy editing —which drives me to abandon the article unfinished, and devalues the brand. Thank you.
