Crayola eat your heart out. That looks amazing. I wonder if it has protective qualities similar to a bumper. Will save the odd chip from dropping it.

Glass-Stupid? No, people carried pocket watches around for decades with glass & crystal faces, some two sided, even in heavy industry. Not a problem in a pocket, maybe a problem if you drop it on concrete.

And yet it still doesn't strike you as stupid to build a device intended to ride around in your pocket out of glass?

Form over function is not a good idea.

On you pictures of the iPhone4, you can still see the diagonal lines criss-crossing the top and bottom 20% of the device, Did you not squeeze out the Gelaskin here (to emphasize the point) or is this an artefact of the picture?

IMHO, the art crayon picture is perfect for the back the phone but the side images are too thin and look a little messy and crowded.

@evilbillcosby:
Here is what I know from personal experience: on the same location, same time of the day, we have my wife's unprotected iPhone and mine, skinned. On both phones, I put my finger on what Apple calls the weak spot.
My wife's phone lose two bars, mine none.
I'm tempted to try clear nail polish applied over the antenna gap, but my wife won't let me play with her phone... JLG

actually, the thin gelaskin probably doesn't do much in terms of blocking attenuation ( you need more thickness)

clearly you are still coming to a full understanding of the situation
please get caught up soon
